At Korchix, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Lull mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Our Privacy Philosophy

We believe in privacy by design. Lull is built to collect as little personal data as possible while still providing you with a great experience. We:

  • Do NOT collect personally identifiable information (names, emails, phone numbers) unless you voluntarily contact us
  • Do NOT sell your data to third parties
  • Do NOT use invasive tracking or advertising networks
  • Do NOT require account creation or login

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Onboarding Information (Stored Locally Only):

  • Baby's name (optional, never leaves your device)
  • Parent's name (optional, never leaves your device)
  • App mode preference (Baby Mode or My Time Mode)

This information is stored only on your device using local storage and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We collect minimal, anonymized technical data to improve the App:

  • Device Information: Device type (iPhone, Android), operating system version, app version
  • Usage Analytics: Which features you use, how often you use the App, session duration
  • Performance Data: Crash reports, error logs, loading times (to fix bugs and improve stability)
  • Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription (managed by RevenueCat)

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited data we collect for the following purposes:

  • App Functionality: To provide core features like sound playback, timers, and presets
  • Subscription Management: To verify your premium subscription status and unlock features
  • Improvement: To analyze anonymous usage patterns and improve the user experience
  • Bug Fixes: To identify and resolve crashes, errors, and technical issues
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries if you contact us

We do NOT use your data for: Advertising, profiling, cross-app tracking, or selling to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Lull uses the following trusted third-party services to provide and improve the App:

3.1 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects:

  • Anonymous user ID (generated by RevenueCat, not tied to your identity)
  • Subscription status (active, expired, trial, etc.)
  • Purchase history (to enable cross-device subscription syncing)

3.2 Apple App Store / Google Play (Payment Processing)

Payments are processed directly by:

We never see or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All billing data is handled exclusively by Apple or Google.

3.3 Analytics (Optional)

We may use anonymous analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics or similar) to understand app usage. These tools:

  • Collect aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., "50% of users use Baby Mode")
  • Do NOT collect personally identifiable information
  • Do NOT track you across other apps or websites

You can opt out of analytics by disabling tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).

4. Data Storage & Security

4.1 Local Storage

Most of your data (names, preferences, sound settings) is stored only on your device using secure local storage. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, biometric lock)
  • Is deleted if you uninstall the App

4.2 Cloud Storage

The only data stored in the cloud is:

  • Subscription status: Stored by RevenueCat to enable cross-device access
  • Anonymous analytics: Aggregated usage statistics (no personal identifiers)

4.3 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure API connections with third-party services
  • Regular security audits and updates

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Local data: Stored on your device until you delete the App or clear its data
  • Subscription data: Retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription, plus a reasonable period for accounting and refund purposes
  • Analytics data: Anonymized usage data is retained for up to 24 months to identify long-term trends
  • Support communications: If you contact us, we retain your email for up to 2 years for support purposes

6. Your Rights & Choices

6.1 Access & Deletion

Since we collect minimal data and most of it is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

  • Local data: Delete the App or clear app data in your device settings
  • Subscription data: Contact RevenueCat or us to request deletion of subscription records
  • Analytics: Opt out via device settings (see Section 3.3)

6.2 Marketing Communications

We do not send marketing emails or push notifications unless you explicitly opt in. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6.3 Do Not Track

We respect "Do Not Track" signals. If your browser or device is set to Do Not Track, we will not collect analytics data.

7. Children's Privacy

Lull is designed to help babies and young children sleep, but the App is intended for use by adults (parents, caregivers, or guardians), not by children directly.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations:

  • We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
  • The App does not require account creation or personal data entry
  • If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at contact@korchix.com

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify you via in-app notification
  • Provide a reasonable period to review the changes

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Your Legal Rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

If you are located in the European Union, California, or other jurisdictions with strong privacy laws, you may have additional rights:

9.1 GDPR (EU Residents)

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you
  • Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
